New Quarter

New Quarter is what happened when Commune Group, the team behind Hanoi Hannah, Tokyo Tina and Neptune, decided their Windsor favourite deserved a more polished sibling. It opened in early 2018 at the station end of Swan Street and got a complete overhaul in 2021 with head chef Scott Lord taking the kitchen.

The menu's own billing is 'inspired by tradition, but not bound by it': Vietnamese share plates that take the flavours seriously without treating the canon as a museum, matched with an Australian-leaning wine list and cocktails that go well beyond the usual pairings. Along with its neighbours it anchors the strip's Vietnamese dining scene, at the dressier end of that spectrum.
