The Blacksmith opened in 2019 in the old Sneak space at 69 Swan Street, a building that started life in 1924 as McNaughton's Ironmongers. The blacksmith theme runs through the fit-out: backlit spirit shelves, antique fittings and a moody, prohibition-era feel.
The cocktail list is deliberately uncomplicated, a nod to the classics rather than a showcase of pyrotechnics. From the Pratt Hospitality group behind Katuk and Maeve Fox, it splits into a front bar and a warmer rear room for private functions.
