Greenstreat brought its build-your-own salad bar to Swan Street in early 2023, tucked under the grand old Maples building. Founded by brothers Jackson and Jesse McGrath, it lets you build a bowl from more than forty ingredients, a spread of dressings and a couple of bases, all tossed to order.
Alongside the salads are warm grain bowls and burritos, in a bright, airy, minimalist room with a few green chairs on the footpath. It was the brothers' first Melbourne site after earlier shops in Albury, Wodonga and Brisbane, and the whole-food ethos is the point: leave feeling better than when you came in.
