Hugo's Deli

Hugo's Deli took the corner at 119 Swan St in 2022, an old-school, family-feeling sanga shop from Jim Mavrogiannis, Ash Davies and Jonathan Leondakis with Tayne Akyalcin in the kitchen. HUGO'S is painted big across the brick side wall, and sandwiches are the whole point.

The line-up leans indulgent: a four-cheese melt of cheddar, mozzarella, comte and Gruyere, a fried-chicken sanga on shokupan with Hugo sauce, and a proper Reuben. It champions local suppliers like Brioche by Philip and Uncle's Smallgoods, with Odyssey coffee on tap, hot or cold. Open daily, roughly 7am to mid-afternoon.
