Jay's Yogurt started as a Melbourne froyo food truck in 2015 and has been a Swan Street fixture since, doing frozen yoghurt a little differently. You pick a base, non-homogenised full-cream yoghurt, banana or coconut, then choose fruit, nuts and cookies, and it is pulverised and blended to order in an auger machine.
The banana and coconut bases make it easy for the dairy-free, and the yoghurt is made with local non-homogenised milk for a fresher, creamier result. The concept came from a blended froyo the founder tried travelling in Israel. Open late, closed Mondays.
